Sunday, May 26, from 9:30 am, will take place the second appointment with the Heritour #collab_bici organized by CooperACTiva, the first cooperative community in a complex urban area of the districts of Alessandrino, Centocelle and Torre Spaccata and the Collaboratorio di Roma, with the support of LabGov as part of the H2020 Open Heritage Project.
The initiative, in collaboration with Legambiente and the association 100Cicli, provides an itinerary to discover the heritage area of Centocelle, in the District of Rome south-east, and is part of the third edition of the Festival of Sustainable Development promoted by ASviS, today considered the largest Italian exhibition for the intergenerational promotion of the culture of sustainability in its three dimensions: economic, social and environmental. It is inspired by the 2030 Agenda of the United Nations, and aims to initiate a process of cultural and political change that will allow the full implementation of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The first part of the exhibition includes a walk through the sites of interest of the district: the appointment is at 9:30 at the parking lot of the park of Centocelle! From there will start a journey to discover the heritage area of Centocelle during which the speleologists of Underground Rome will show the present hidden corners of the territory, followed by a guided tour of Villa Gordiani, in the presence of volunteers of Legambiente. We will then continue with a lunch at the Enoteca “In Venadivino” to discover the tastes and typical of Roman cuisine and then take part, from 14:30, the initiative “Centocellule”, a neighborhood treasure hunt organized by the association Centocicli, Don Cadmo Biavati Park.
In the afternoon the activities will move to the Alessandrino District, where starting at 17:00 at Fusolab 2.0 will take place the presentation of a book and a charity auction of objects offered by the association Africa Sottosopra.
The tour includes the use of bicycles: those who are not, can rent one of those belonging to the fleet of CooperACTiva.
It will also be possible to make donations in favor of the Library Cafeteria “The Electric Sheep” victim, last April 25, an incendiary act.
The participants of the Tour can also take advantage of the opportunity to #ScACTare their photos and participate in the contest of the neighborhoods Alessandrino, Centocelle and Torre Spaccata “The Neighborhood in Motion” Launched by CooperACTiva in collaboration with the National Geographic photographer Cristina Cosmano during the course of the 4th Day of Civic Collaboration last May 4; fantastic prizes are planned!
